According to the policies and regulations of China Scholarship Council (CSC), Shanghai Municipal Government, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the university carries out annual scholarship review in April every year for all scholarship students. We will conduct a comprehensive review on the student’s performance through 3 procedures: student self-assessment, college/school review and university review. The scholarship may be adjusted, based on the all-round performance of the student. If the scholarship annual review results are unsatisfactory, the scholarship will be suspended or canceled, and the scholarship student will be converted to a self-funded student.
All international graduate students at SJTU with a scholarship in hand who will continue to receive it next academic year (including Chinese Government Scholarship, Shanghai Government Scholarship, Scholarship of Confucius, University Scholarships, and TDLI Scholarship) are required to go through an annual scholarship review, usually in every April, except for those graduating in June of the review year.
Please note that if one fails to submit the application for review before the due date, a conclusion of “cancel” will be applied to his/her scholarship review by default.
For those with Chinese Government Scholarship, the reviews will be completed through the website of CSC; those with Shanghai Government Scholarship, Scholarship of Confucius, University Scholarships, the reviews will be completed through “My SJTU” (http://my.sjtu.edu.cn); those with TDLI Scholarship need to submit the required materials to the Academic Affairs Coordinator at TDLI directly.
