Article: Strive to be a leader in more scientific and technological fields
Director Jie Zhang was interviewed by Wenhui Daily about how to strengthen China's fundemental research in an organized way. He thinks a large scientific research paradigm should focus on fundamental scientific problems and give full play to the advantages of large scientific facilities, organized scientific research and stable funding support. At the same time, a more open and encouraging environment with an innovative incentive system are also indispensable for scientific research.
In a short video series focusing on new citizens from different areas and industries of Shanghai made by Kankan News (one of Shanghai’s local news portals), T. D. Video: “I'm a little worried that Sophon will make me unemployed”, said Kun Liu when talking about Three Body
In a video in Bilibili, T. D. Lee Fellow , Dr. Kun Liu shared his ideas about the origin of matters and dark matter with an inspiration from the famous science fiction Three Body. “In the eyes of Trisolarans, humans are as simple and weak as insects. Just as Three Body wrote, weak as the insects may be, humans are hard to be eradicated. We are always trying to expand the boundary of knowledge and we believe with generations’ hard work, we will become much stronger when we meet Trisolarans in the future.”
One interesting comment about Kun’s video: I just love the feeling of knowledge flowing through my mind without leaving a trace.
