Public Computing Platform

The public computing platform "Siyuan No. 1" was donated by Yang Yuanqing, with a total computing power of 6 PFLOPS. The CPU nodes use dual-channel Intel Xeon ICX Platinum 8358 (32 cores), with a main frequency of 2.6GHz. There are total 938 CPU nodes. The GPU nodes use NVIDIA HGX A100. There are total 92 GPU cards. Computing nodes use Mellanox 100 Gbps Infiniband HDR high-speed interconnect. The aggregate storage capacity for parallel storage is 10 PB.

Experimental Platform for Topological Materials

A comprehensive experimental system for investigating topological materials will be built, including the growth and physical property measurement of topological materials. Systematic and in-depth research on basic scientific problems related to topological materials will be carried out, which will lay a solid foundation for the practical application of topological materials.

Experimental Platform for Laboratory Astrophysics

To reveal the physical mechanism of intense energy release mechanism (cosmic ray, high energy particle, gamma ray burst, FRB, etc.) in celestial bodies and space environment; to reveal the physical process of nuclear astrophysics; to explore the feasibility and experimental exploration scheme of Axion generation under super intense laser.
