A study tour for TDLI graduate students to Tsung-Dao Lee Library and Zhangjiang Laboratory Building was organized on May 9th.
The first stop was a special exhibition on the 1st and 2nd floor of Tsung-Dao Lee Library. Themed the unwavering pursuit of Tao in physics, a series of artifacts and artworks inspired by Prof. Lee and physics were presented in the four sections, namely, Ask-Tao, Understand-Tao, Spread-Tao, and Beyond-Tao. Everyone was amazed by Lee’s contribution to China’s education sector and the development of science and technology, and was touched by Lee’s patriotism.
In the afternoon, students were thrilled to see the new laboratory building with their own eyes for the first time. Located at Zhangjiang Science City, the building covers an area of 56000 square meters, and is composed of a south building, a north building, and a glass hall with a dome in the center.
