Chen Zhe is an Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in Science, graduated from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has held various roles at the university, including Section Chief at the General Affairs Office, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Deputy Director of the Civilization Office in the Publicity Department, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office, and Acting Deputy Director of the Organization Department. His research and professional focus have been on student development, ideological education, career services, and party building. Chen has received several accolades, including the Shanghai Youth May Fourth Medal (Individual).

Leads all CPC-related affairs. Responsible for the development of administrative and staff teams, discipline inspection and supervision, safety and stability, ideological work, local government cooperation, campus operations and expansion, infrastructure and IT development. Co-responsible for graduate admissions and training, recruitment and promotion of staff scientists and engineers, and postdoctoral affairs.
