Research Interests
- 1. Develop time-resolved scanning probe microscope (SPM) with ultra-high spatiotemporal resolution and advanced SPM via the combination with various spectroscopic techniques
- 2. Ultra-high spatial resolution imaging and spectroscopy of single atoms/ molecules, low-dimensional and strongly correlated materials: for example, two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), magic-angle graphene, high-temperature superconductivity, topological insulators, etc.
- 3. Atomic-scale detection of ultrafast dynamics of various non-equilibrium states: for example, single-molecule excited state dynamics, carrier dynamics, spin dynamics, etc.
