Abstract:
In recent years, quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) have achieved remarkable progress. The cross-integration of these two fields has given birth to quantum artificial intelligence (Quantum AI), an interdisciplinary frontier. On the one hand, the inherent parallel processing advantage of quantum computing is expected to address the computing power and energy consumption bottlenecks faced by AI, thereby advancing the development of AI. On the other hand, AI technologies can also be applied to solve complex quantum problems, providing support for the development of quantum computing. Interdisciplinary research between the two is expected to break through their respective limitations and generate transformative ideas and technologies. In this report, I will briefly introduce some of the latest cutting-edge advancements in the fields of quantum computing and Quantum AI, and demonstrate how quantum physics and AI intersect, integrate, and mutually promote each other through specific examples. Additionally, I will discuss a number of urgent fundamental issues that need to be resolved in the field of Quantum AI.
