Abstract:
I give brief overview of the universe history from the inflation to radiation/matter dominance and finally dark energy era via modified gravity. The case of F(R) gravity is mainly considered. It is reviewed the realistic F(R) gravities which pretend to describe the universe evolution.Such theories enjoy general covariance and they are ghost-free ones. Some data confrontation with Planck and DE bounds is done. Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity is also discussed. Inflation in such theory subject the special condition to keep the gravitational waves speed to be equal that of speed is considered. Brief remarks on neutron stars and black holes in modified gravity are done. This universal general approach opens the new view to the universe evolution as a whole, not just specific era description what is standard now in cosmology.
