We are pleased to announce that the international conference on "Transient Phenomena and Physical Processes Around Supermassive Black Holes" will be held at Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, from October 15th to 18th, 2024.
This conference will focus on the latest research regarding the dynamical processes and high-energy phenomena occurring around supermassive black holes (SMBHs) at the centers of galaxies. The meeting will feature discussions on various topics, including tidal disruption events, quasi-periodic phenomena, stellar dynamics, accretion processes around SMBHs, extreme mass ratio inspirals (EMRIs), binary SMBHs, and gravitational waves.
